Location: Škofljica Quarry, Slovenia
The music video was filmed in the dramatic surroundings of the Škofljica Quarry and premiered on June 17, 2025. Directed, written, and filmed by Marko Turšič, it features choreography and dance by internationally active Slovenian dancer Jerca Rožnik Novak, whose work intertwines dance, performance, and participation. Costume and makeup were designed by Lumia Studio, with editing and color grading by Marko Turšič and Lumia Studio. The expressive dance performance and raw natural scenery form a compelling dialogue with Sever’s music, blending sound, movement, and environment into a striking artistic experience. The music video featuring Jan Sever’s piano improvisations was filmed near the Škofljica quarry and brings together outstanding Slovenian artists. The choreography and expressive dance performance were created and performed by Jerca Rožnik Novak, an internationally active dancer, choreographer, and educator working between Ljubljana and Vienna. The video was directed, written, filmed, and edited by Marko Turšič, with additional editing and color grading by Lumia Studio, which also provided costume and makeup design. The accompanying CD is planned to be recorded and released by Nika Records, highlighting Sever’s unique blend of classical mastery and spontaneous improvisation.
About Jerca Rožnik Novak
Jerca Rožnik Novak is a dancer, choreographer, performer, and dance educator who collaborates with international artists and dance companies such as SILK Fluegge and editta braun company. She is also the co-founder of the duo echospiel, and her work blends dance, performance, and participatory projects.
